USAGA Participates in "Tee Up for Teaching" Seminar

The United States Adaptive Golf Alliance was honored to participate in the "Tee Up for Teaching" seminar at Ronny Golf Park, an event dedicated to advancing adaptive golf instruction. This fantastic program brought together PGA and LPGA professionals, allied health professionals, and adaptive golfers to explore innovative teaching methods for individuals with physical disabilities.

The seminar addressed essential topics, including how disabilities impact golf participation, adaptive equipment modifications, and effective teaching strategies tailored to the unique abilities of golfers. Attendees also learned about the importance of inclusion under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and how to foster collaborative partnerships to expand adaptive golf opportunities in their communities.

Special thanks to Scottish Rite for Children and all the program facilitators for leading insightful discussions and hands-on demonstrations. It was an inspiring day focused on making golf more accessible and inclusive.
