ADAPTIVE GOLF RESOURCES
Inclusion Guidelines for Golf Facilities
Are you looking to find ways to make your facility more inclusive, attract new consumers, and help increase revenue?
As part of Make Golf Your Thing’s commitment to providing industry resources, the revamped (summer 2023) Inclusion Guidelines for Golf Facilities is now available. These guidelines are a comprehensive scorecard of practices, procedures, and suggestions for operationalizing inclusion at a golf facility. The Guide provides the instruments to gauge achievements and offers practical advice to foster a more inclusive environment for people from all walks of life. Ultimately, creating better business outcomes such as increased revenue from new customers, improved customer loyalty, and better reputation in the community.
Included in the guidelines are a glossary of DEI terms and a combination of assessments aimed at measuring inclusion efforts. Each assessment contains a series of questions relating to marketing and communications, outside and inside physical environment, policies, practices and procedures, and staffing within your facility. In strides to keep creating inclusive golf environments, we hope these guidelines help you and your team grow in DEI within the industry.
