NOAGA Winter Regional Recap

January 30, 2023

The North American One-Armed Golfer Association wrapped up a wonderful weekend in Parrish Florida participating in our 2023 Winter Regional. We had a total of 64 players competing, the biggest field in our 22 yr history. Included in that 64 were 8 Jr players, 5 of whom compete on their able-bodied High School golf teams. We had 15 first time participants and the largest gallery ever as well, great to be cheered on while playing. We did have sad news, charter member, Dewey Easley passed away a few days prior to the event, a moment of silence and a glass was raised in his honor.

Here are the top two players in each of our divisions":

Getchell (unassisted): 1 - Jesse Florkowski, 2 – Xander Dobreff

Fullgraf (assisted): 1 – Rob Walden, 2 – John Trenchik

Sanders (Net): 1 – Clay Kemper, 2 – Johan Uys

Jr Overall: 1- Sophia Howard 2 – Ryder Barr

Jr Under 16: 1 - Ryder Barr, 2 – Jackson Merriss

Jr 16-18 – 1 – Hogan Lust, 2 – Logan Rabas

Greatly appreciate the USAGA for all the support and guidance to NAOAGA and the entire adaptive community while running our tournaments.

- Dan Aldrich of the North American One-Armed Golfer Association
