New Accessible USAGA Website

USAGA and accessiBe partnership on new USAGA website

In order to provide the best possible experience for all potential adaptive golfers, the USAGA decided to build a brand new website. This goal of the website is to provide an accessible website for all disabilities to use. We partnered with the artificial intelligence accessibility company accessiBe to accomplish this. Their vision is one of a similar future that the USAGA, inclusion for all. Whether that is making the internet accessible or being on the golf course.

Our vision is to make the entire internet accessible to people with disabilities by 2025. By using automation, the notion of an accessible internet (hundreds of millions of active websites and over 1.5 Billion in total) is for the first time ever a practical, attainable reality and not just a distant dream.”

The little blue character on the bottom right of the website (accessiBe widget) provides a number of different ways for those with vision and sensory impairments to make our website easier to use. The widget scans our website every 24 hours so we can remain accessible as we add new and exciting content about adaptive golf and our members.

Our partnership with accessiBe goes another step further. They have not only offered us their accessibility widget, but every one of our members free of charge! U.S. Adaptive Golf Alliance will also be featured on website. We also look forward to being part of their YouTube Spotlight sessions with an upcoming interview with our Chairman, EQ Sylvester.
