National Alliance for Accessible Golf Launches GAIN!
The National Alliance for Accessible Golf (the Alliance) announces the launch of the Golf Access and Inclusion Network™ (GAIN) in support of our mission “to increase the participation of people with disabilities in the game of golf”.
Designed to foster national engagement on access and inclusion, GAIN is an adaptive golf community forum uniting golf, recreation and therapeutic facilities, health and wellness specialists, golf professionals, programs, golfers and those who want to learn. All are welcome in GAIN including future golfers (and their family and friends) looking to get started; golf professionals or facility owners seeking advice on how to get a program started; and individuals, organizations, and industry who can provide accessibility and inclusion answers, guidance or support on a local, regional or national level.
The Golf Access and Inclusion Network™ features:
· Community-driven discussions,
· Easily accessible national network of experts,
· Multiple forums on relevant topics,
· A community of individuals dedicated to accessibility and inclusion,
· Accessible resources including program and facility listings, checklists, and more.
The Golf Access and Inclusion Network™ is a free communications forum provided by the National Alliance for Accessible Golf. Whatever the conversation, GAIN is designed to provide easy access to experts and facilitate growth of the adaptive golf community through a broad industry knowledge base.
Executive Director, Dave Barton, PGA, explains “GAIN is a multidisciplinary approach to one-stop shopping for experts and information to further strengthen the golf industry’s ability to provide accessible and inclusive environments leading to increased participation of people with disabilities in the game of golf.”
Barton continues, “Whether you are asking questions, providing answers, or just listening in for now, the Alliance is inviting you to contribute to the Golf Access and Inclusion Network. Together we are stronger.”
